How come I stay connected on Trillian, but Yahoo Messenger seems to boot me every couple minutes?! Help!?
Yes, I am logging on from a corporate network…but Yahoo Messenger had been working just fine until a day or two ago (today is 12/12/06). I’ve got Trillian running with my Yahoo Messenger login, and it stays up and going. Yahoo seems to boot me every couple of minutes…not sure if this is related to whatever updates Yahoo did the other day.
My Yahoo Messenger was set to “Firewall w/No Proxies” and, like I said, been working fine until a few days ago.
My Trillian is working via Host: scs.msg.yahoo.com and Port: 80. Not sure if I need to post any other techie stuff.
You company has changed its firewall.
