How can I get into a website that has my IP address banned even though I haven’t been to that site before ????

I’ve been trying to get into a comic forum to register but it always says that my IP address has been banned when I haven’t even been there before. I’m smart enough to know someone with a IP address like mine has probably been banned and I have to suffer for it but that’s not fair.
Is there a way I can change my IP address or alter something on my computer to get past the ban on the site so I can participate and join the forum? I’m not a super “techie” but I can do alot with my computer. I hope someone can help because I’m so frustrated that could just cry. This is the worst day! Even the guy I was interested in hooked up with my best friend last night even though she knew I liked him. Please help….This forum could give me something fun to participate in…….Hope you all have a better day that I’ve been having
